VTS Track Solutions guarantees quality by attaining ISO 9001 certification

VTS Track Solutions of Maarheeze has held the ISO 9001 certificate since February of 2016. By attaining this certificate, the company shows that it is able to consistently supply products and services that comply with the requirements of the customer and with laws and regulations.

VTS Track Solutions was formed eight years ago and is specialised in the design, development, production and maintenance of track systems, transport systems, powerpacks and drives. VTS Track Solutions produces both standard and customer-specific solutions for customers all over the world.

Logical choice

In reply to the question of why VTS set out on this course, Branch Manager Hein Stark says: ‘It was a logical choice for us. Customers increasingly give preference to doing business with ISO-certified suppliers. Furthermore, we ourselves are continually looking for ways to improve our quality and efficiency. Customers see that with this quality management system, we can also increase customer satisfaction. It makes us a reliable partner.’

Robin Verhoeven, R&D Engineer at VTS Track Solutions, can testify to the fact that the process was a lengthy one: ‘We started the project in 2015 and opted for certification according to the updated standard of 2015 (previously 2008). By continually evaluating and optimising our performance, we are now seeing a considerable improvement in cooperation between departments and that problems are identified and resolved in good time. This substantially reduces the risk of errors. Ultimately, the customer benefits from that too.’

Continual process

Attaining the certificate does not mean that VTS Track Solutions is done. ISO 9001:2015 remains a continual process.

An independent external certification agency will check each year that the company still complies with the underlying standard. According to Hein Stark, this is entirely in line with the VTS Track Solutions corporate culture. ‘We are an innovative technical company. We are proud of the products that we make for our customers. It contributes to our commitment to continually find new improvements and solutions for our customers.’
