High speed tracked crawler for CPT machine

VTS Track Solutions is known for its tracked mobile solutions, one example is this CPT crawler. A CPT crawler is a machine that drives a CPT cone into the soil to investigate soil conditions and collect information about the soil structure. This is done using sensors in the cone.

A high-speed crawler undercarriage was produced for this CPT crawler, including the complete diesel-hydraulic power pack. The machine is equipped with oscillating rollers for maximum soil contact. This ensures better damping in case of obstacles and improved stability at higher travelling speeds.

The diesel-hydraulic powerpack is a separate unit and consists of a 56KW diesel engine with a power-regulated, load-sense hydraulic pump (340 Bar & 240 litres/min.) and a 5-section valve block. To these valve sections, the user can connect the other machine functions. The valve block can also be extended by several sections if required.

The power pack is modular. This allows it to be used for different applications and in combination with other types of crawler tracks.
