ALL-ELECTRIC SAND SCREEN MACHINE IN COOPERATION WITH GKB

VTS, in collaboration with the GKB Group, has designed a very special machine. It is a fully electric mini-sand screen machine. This sand screen is designed to easily and quickly sieve sand boxes in the playgrounds of the municipality of Rotterdam. Previously, these machines were hydraulic, but due to the emission requirements in the municipality of Rotterdam, it has been necessary to make this machine fully electric.

For the production of the sand screen machine, VTS supplied the electrically driven crawlers and the motors for the bunker and screening belt. The required battery pack and the control software were also supplied by VTS, which makes it possible to operate the screen for up to 8 hours on one battery charge.
